Our sick and bereaved Ministries is a extension of the ministry of Pastor Elton B. Branch and the Greater Mt. Huron
team. We are dedicated to helping hurting people and addressing the wide variety of needs
of our local congregation. Pastoral Care Ministries provides the following services: pre-marital counseling,
funerals, hospital and nursing home visitation, pastoral counseling and crisis care.
Our vision is to bear the burdens of others with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick,
and the Lord will raise him up."

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION and CONCERNS
Through Christian Education we invite people to be transformed as they come to know and experience God through
Jesus and grow and serve as Christian disciples.
The mission of the Education Ministry Team is to support the Pastoral Staff (specifically the Director of Christian
Education and Children’s Minister) in planning, coordinating and overseeing church based religious educational
opportunities for people of all ages. Specifically, this will include:
- Assessing the needs, identifying gaps and setting priorities for the congregation’s educational opportunities for all ages
- Planning and evaluating settings for teaching, learning and practicing spiritual activities
for all ages - Identifying and equipping effective leaders for each of the educational efforts provided
- Developing and administering the annual education budget
- Empower, Enable, Enrich and Equip teachers, leaders and participants who take part in education

YOUTH MINISTERS
Youth Ministry is a Leadership Program designed to provide student ministry experience,
as well as developing them into high impact leaders in multiple facets of ministry.
Watch as kids blast-off to a whole new level of relationship with God. We engage them in captivating
environments filled with Bible lessons that will develop their faith, character, and purpose in life. At GMH,
we try to create settings that not only enable strong spiritual growth, but strong friendships with other students.
Every week will be a new fun and creative experience designed just for kids as they grow in their walk with God.

PRISON and STREET MINISTRY
Greater Mt. Huron Jail and Prison ministry has volunteers that ministers to inmates incarcerated in our local county jails.
Ministers visit upon request with inmates and encourage them with the word of God.
